2006 Westwood International Film Festival Volunteer Form Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2006 Westwood International Film Festival, which will be held October 6 through October 13. Please carefully read the following information about volunteering for the Westwood International Film Festival: Commitment: You must commit to a mandatory volunteer orientation session prior to the Festival. You must be 18 years old or older to volunteer for the Festival. Applying to volunteer for the Festival: Download the application and complete all of the required information. You can type directly onto the application form. If you fill in the application by hand, please print legibly. Remember to sign the application form. We cannot process unsigned application forms. Fax or mail the form to us using the contact information at the bottom of this page. Every department needs help in a wide variety of areas. There is a place for all abilities and experience levels on the volunteer team. In order to find the best fit for you, we will assign you to a Festival department based on your experience, skills and availability as detailed on your application form. You may submit a résumé with the application if you like. Here is a brief description of what we need: Filmmaker Registration - Assist filmmakers in all facets of their Festival experience. Festival needs. Press/Publicity - Facilitate press and media needs. Publications/Editorial - Write and edit all Festival publications, including the film guide, Catalog, Website and brochures. Screenings - Print control and traffic, all front-of-house staff (ushers, ticket takers, doorpersons, etc.) Sponsorship - Assist in supporting Festival sponsors in all facets of their sponsorship. Help in obtaining sponsorships. Volunteer - Operate volunteer headquarters and satellite locations and check in all volunteers.
